University of Trento

The University of Trento is a young and dynamic university with 16,000 students and about 1,200 faculty and administrative and technical staff. The educational offer ranges from science and technology to the humanistic field, passing through the areas of socio-economics, law, and cognitive sciences. The University of Trento has created a rich Copperation network with prestigious foreign universities and research centres. The large number of bilateral Copperation agreements has led the University to be appreciated at an international level and to offer its students a lot of opportunities to study and work abroad, as well as an international environment ‘at home’. Different Master’s degree and PhD courses are taught in English. Teaching is supported by a high level scientific research in different fields. Prestigious research centres have been founded in recent years: the Centre for Integrative Biology, the Centre for Mind/Brain Sciences, the Microsoft Research-University of Trento Centre for Computational and Systems Biology, and the Centre for Biomedical Technologies.

Quality of research and teaching, internationalization and positive relations with the community are the main priorities of University of Trento.
