Lobachevsky University
UNN is one of the leading classical research universities in Russia. The total enrollment is about 30 000 full-time and part-time students including about 1000 PhD students. The University comprises 14 faculties, 8 branches in the cities of the Nizhni Novgorod region and 8 research institutes. In 2009 UNN became one of Russia`s 29 National Research Universities. Diploma Specialist programmes are offered in 52 specialities. Bachelor`s programmes are taught in 67 areas. There are nearly 100 Master`s programs in 28 areas of studies. PhD students are trained in 61 scientific specialities. UNN implements the concept of continuing education from high school to PhD studies.
