Voronezh State Technical University
Founded in 1956, Voronezh State Technical University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the medium-sized city of Voronezh (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Voronezh Oblast. Officially accredited/recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Voronezh State Technical University is a medium-sized (enrollment range: 7,000-7,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Voronezh State Technical University offers courses and programs leading to officialy recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. Voronezh State Technical University also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
Today – one of the largest Russian higher educational institutions. Student audience, including students of natural and technical college, has about 12 thousand people. Among the 776 full-time faculty members, more than 80 professors, 360 associate professors and candidates of sciences. The University consists of Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering, 4 engineering faculty, distance learning faculty, the faculty of pre-university and additional training, 40 departments (30 issuers), naturally-Technical College, Voronezh branch research center quality of training problems, Voronezh Regional Center of New Information technology, Faculty of social professions, 15 educational-industrial complexes. It is currently being trained in 5 specialties secondary education, 7 specialties of higher professional education, 25 directions for bachelors, 16 masters directions for preparation.
