University of Thi-Qar

University of Thi-Qar is an Iraqi university located in Nasiriyah, Iraq. It was established on 30 of January 2002 in accordance with Legislative Decree No. 15. The College of Education was established a decade earlier and attached to Basra University in 1992. University of Thi-Qar has since its inception been a pioneering and innovative force in Iraqi higher education. The University is recognized as one of the leading Iraqi research and teaching institutes.
