Omsk State Technical University

The university has 7 institutes, leading educational activities, research institute of radio electronics and instrument making and 7 faculties. Omsk State Technical University has 17 research and educational resource centers, more than 30 research institutes, 49 small enterprises, 19 student design bureaus, on the basis of which students apply their knowledge in practice and are engaged in scientific development. About 15,000 full-time, part-time and correspondence students study at the university. The university employs about 1,600 employees, more than 800 of whom are teachers, most of whom are candidates and doctors of science. Also in the university there is the second largest library of the city of Omsk.
