The University of Tampa?s 105-acre residential campus in the heart of downtown Tampa consists of 58 buildings, including 11 residence halls and excellent athletic and fitness facilities, as well as 45 computer labs available for curricular, classroom or open use. All campus buildings are wired and connected via fiber optic cable, and campus features approximately 450 wireless zones. The campus is monitored by 35 safety personnel, providing 24/7 campus coverage for optimal security. The University offers 150 programs of study, and 11 master’s programs and nine concentrations, within its four colleges?College of Arts and Letters; College of Natural and Health Sciences; College of Social Science, Mathematics and Education; and Sykes College of Business (AACSB accredited). In addition, the University also offers ROTC programs. Army, Air Force and Naval ROTC programs teach students how to lead by going beyond the classroom with many opportunities for hands-on training. The University also offers numerous worldwide study abroad options, more than 40 different kinds of experiential learning, 600 internship opportunities, and 77 leadership programs. Students can engage in numerous events and organizations including: 3,000 University and community events annually; 200 clubs, student organizations and teams; 22 sororities and fraternities; student-run, on-campus television and radio stations and newspaper; & 30 categories of intramural sports and tournaments.
