Kaohsiung Medical University

Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU) sits in the heart of Kaohsiung, the second largest city in Taiwan. KMU, established in 1954, is the first private medical university in Taiwan. KMU consists of seven colleges and is the only school that provides the post baccalaureate medicine program in Taiwan.

KMU is currently running Dual Ph.D. Degree programs with Upsalla University in Sweden, the University of Szeged in Hungary, and the University of California, Irvine. KMU has distinguished performance in the fields of clinical medicine, pharmacology and toxicology, agricultural sciences, social sciences, and chemistry.
