Responsibilities:

• https://siliconspectra.com/ website is our latest venture into technology content publishing. We have already started creating startup portfolios. We are looking to add daily and weekly technology news from US and China startups.
• Discover, Research and Write about daily newsworthy tech events or articles both in the US and China similar to Techcrunch, Wired, Medium, Hackernoon, VentureBeat, Digital Trends, etc.
• Be in charge of all social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, WeChat, TikTok, etc.
• Must be able to make the contents interesting for both Chinese and US audiences.
• Respond to comments on the website and social media
• If you love tech news, startup latest funding rounds, latest gadgets, startup valuation (PLUS), etc., this could be your opportunity to show the world your writing skills.

Education and Qualities:

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, ESL, communications, or another appropriate field
• Strong Content writing skills in both English and Mandarin (MUST)
• Detail-oriented, ability to multitask with strong prioritization, planning and organization skills
• Experience covering the technology industry as a journalist or engaging in other activities that build knowledge about the subject
  Outstanding writing, grammar and editing capabilities
• An instinct and enthusiasm for identifying newsworthy, as well as shareable, stories that resonate with the target audience
  Past work in the tech news industry is a plus
