Thomas Bruch
Thomas Bruch is the fifth generation of his family to preside over retailer Globus.
Globus operates hypermarkets, plus DIY and electrical appliance stores, in Germany, Luxembourg, Russia and Czech Republic.
Bruch and his family own 80% of the company, of which 25% is held by two family foundations.
Charitable foundation Globus-Stiftung holds the remaining 20% and will inherit Bruch’s 55% share after his death.
