Larry Robbins

Larry Robbins is an American hedge fund manager and philanthropist. He is the chief executive of Glenview Capital Management, a hedge fund with approximately $7.7 billion of capital under management as of March 2019.

Larry Robbins is founder and CEO of Glenview Capital Management, a New York hedge fund that oversees some $8 billion in assets.

Robbins is known for his hot and cold streaks. He posted steep losses in 2018 after double-digit gains the previous year.

Through his Robbins Family Foundation, he is an active supporter of education reform both in New York City and on the national level.

In 2017, Robbins began serving as chairman of the Robin Hood Foundation, which fights poverty in New York City.
