Michal Solowow

Michał Sołowow is a Polish businessman and rally driver. He was the European vice-champion, the vice-champion of Poland, the European vice-champion, and two-time vice-champion of Poland. His wealth is estimated at the over 6 bn złoty; he is one of the biggest Polish stock exchange investors.

  • Investor Michal Solowow got his start in the late 1980s with construction company Mitex, which he sold in 2002 to French investor Eiffage.
  • Solowow then plowed the proceeds into the nascent Polish stock market.
  • Over the past several years he has been taking his companies including building materials producers Barlinek and Cersanit private.
  • He took his last main listed asset, chemical group Synthos, private in 2018.
  • These days, Solowow is investing in such technology startups as OncoaArendi, a biotech firm, that went public in 2018.
