Comenius University in Bratislava
Comenius University in Bratislava is the oldest and largest university in the Slovak Republic. It was founded on June 27th, 1919. At the time being it has 13 faculties: Faculty of Medicine, Jessenius Faculty of Medicine in Martin, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Philosophy, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, Roman Catholic Cyrilomethodian Faculty of Theology, Evangelical Faculty of Theology, Faculty of Management and Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences.
The Comenius University`s fundamental mission is the advancement and dissemination of knowledge and its understanding. As a UNIVERSITY, it is a scientific institution in which research opens up new horizons and at the same time enhances knowledge transfer.
