Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU) was established in 1990 to be the first private university of its kind in Jordan and the Arab world. AAU has been accorded institutional and programmatic accreditation by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research. It is a member of the International Association of Universities, Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World, Union of Arab Universities and Association of Arab Private Institutions of Higher Education. AAU offers 28 under graduate programs and 6 master program through its eight faculties and academic departments. The University take every effort to offer academic programs geared towards meeting the needs of the local and international market by bridging the gap between skills deemed essential by the employers and the university programs. The training and self- learning that the students experience at the university ideally prepare them as graduates to join the work force without any need for further training or orientation a fact that makes Al-Ahliyya Amman University graduates more competitive.
