Zhang Xiugen
Zhang Xiugen is the chairman of Chinese automaker Hawtai Motor.
In 2017, Hawtai announced that it was acquiring a 20% stake in Shanghai-listed company Liaoning SG Automotive Group; the transaction closed in 2018.
Zhang was in the People’s Liberation Army from 1979 to 1983.
He later led a construction company in Mongolia for 12 years and then entered the auto business in 2000.
