Richard Li

Richard Li Tzar Kai is a Hong Kong businessman and philanthropist. He is the younger son of businessman Li Ka-Shing and brother of Victor Li. Li was 15th in the Forbes list of Hong Kong‘s 50 richest people for 2017.

  • He is the younger son of Hong Kong‘s richest billionaire Li Ka-Shing. He chairs Asia-based investment company Pacific Century Group.
  • Pacific Century Group owns most of life insurance company FWD, which operates in seven countries across Asia, including Hong Kong and Singapore.
  • The group also has interests in businesses spanning financial services, technology and property.
  • Li established a communications and media empire with PCCW, a Hong Kong-based company which controls the city’s largest mobile phone operator HKT.
  • In 2017 FWD paid $424 million for 50% stake in One George Street, an office building in Singapore’s central business district.
