Deutsche Wohnen SE is a German property company, and one of the 50 companies that compose the MDAX index. In July 2015, it was reported that Deutsche Wohnen had about EUR 600M available, and might be looking to acquire 8,000-9,000 apartments.

It operates through the following segments: Residential Property Management, Strategic and Operative Sales, and Nursing and Assisted Living. The Residential Property Management refers to the modernization and maintenance of the property portfolio, the management of tenancy agreements, support for tenants and the marketing of residential units. The Strategic and Operative Sales segment engages in sales activities of the Group. The Nursing and Assisted Living segment is the marketing and management of nursing and residential care homes as well as services for the care of the senior citizens who live in these homes. The company was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Berlin, Germany.
