- He is now fast expanding in the midtier market, where he’s introduced five new hotel brands since 2009.
- His privately-held hotel empire, which daughter Carolyn has been helping him run since 2002, has more than 6,500 rooms across the island.
- Since 2017, he has expanded into Thailand, Malaysia and Australia with seven hotels managed by Travelodge and Holiday Inn.
- In 2018, he rebranded his group as Worldwide Hotels.
