The Corporate and Institutional Banking segment provides banking services and finances the corporations private projects, foreign trading, small and medium sized projects, and banks and financial institutions. The Treasury Group segment is responsible for the management of the group’s assets and liabilities. The Consumer Banking segment provides banking services to individuals and high-networth elite consumers. The company was founded by Abdel Hameed Shoman on May 21, 1930 and is headquartered in Amman, Jordan.
