Toyohashi University of Technology
Toyohashi University of Technology (TUT), known as Toyohashi Tech, is a national university conducting research on advanced technologies and education in such technologies to nurse creative and practical engineers with master degrees. The institute was founded in 1976 by the Japanese Government as a new-style university accepting students mainly from colleges of technology. Our motto is Master Technology, Create Technology.
Our mission is to nurture engineers and researchers who will become leaders in society in the field of technological science. We emphasize both creative and practical ways for the enrichment of humanity, symbiosis with nature, and an internationally Copperative society. We place emphasis on our graduate programs, by promoting education that fosters lucidity of insight, consideration and sensitivity, adaptable intelligence, and a global perspective. With a view to the future, we conduct research with the aim of developing new global standards in technological science.
