The New Economic School

New Economic School, NES is a school of economics in Moscow, Russia. It is the first private university in Russia after the fall of communism, and the only one that does not depend on government funding.

The mission of the New Economic School is to benefit Russia`s private and public sectors through excellence in economics education and research. NES is committed to building a sustainable economics community capable of prominently representing Russia in the global economics profession: 1) NES trains new academic economists for Russia; 2) NES produces globally competitive economics research; 3) NES brings back foreign-trained Russian economists to work in Russia
