Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG, also known as Schaeffler Group, is a German manufacturer of rolling element bearings for automotive, aerospace and industrial uses before October 9, 2015 IPO in Germany. It was founded in 1946 by brothers Dr. Wilhelm and Dr.-Ing. E. h. Georg Schaeffler.

Schaeffler AG engages as a supplier to the automotive and industrial sectors. It also provides rolling bearing and plain bearing solutions; and linear and direct drive technology. It operates through the Automotive and Industrial segments. The Automotive segment provides product and service business with customers in the automotive sector. The Industrial segment offers product and service business with manufacturers of investment goods. The company was founded by Georg Schaeffler and Wilhelm Schaeffler in 1946 and is headquartered in Herzogenaurach, Germany.
