Power Assets Holdings Limited, formerly Hongkong Electric Holdings Limited, is a vertically integrated electric utility company. It is the majority shareholder in the Hongkong Electric Company, having reduced its holding in the company through a series of share sales, the most recent being in June 2015. 

Power Assets Holdings Ltd. engages in the generation and supply of electricity. It operates through the following segments: Sales of Electricity, Investments, and All Other Activities. The Sales of Electricity segment supplies electricity in Hong Kong. The Investments segment invests in power and utility-related businesses. The All Other Activities segment represents other activities carried out by the group. The company was founded on April 9, 1976 and is headquartered in Hong Kong.
