Plekhanov Russian University of Economics
Plekhanov Russian University of Economics is a public research university in Moscow. It was founded in 1907 by entrepreneur Alexei Vishnyakov as the first finance-specialised college in the Russian Empire, then became a large university, recognised internationally as one of the best in the world, with 17 faculties (colleges) and over 100 chairs (educational departments). Plekhanov Russian University of Economics (PRUE) is consistently ranked as one of Top 5 Russian Business Schools, Top 10 Moscow Universities and is also included in the 2014 ranking of Top 100 BRICS Universities (per 2014 QS World University Rankings). International Business School (a faculty of PRUE) has been also awarded with 3 Palms by the Eduniversal in 2014. One of the universityёs undergraduate programme is accredited by the European Council for Business Education and a postgraduate programme received an accreditation by AMBA. PRUE is also a member of the European University Association and the European Foundation for Management Development.
