Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University (KrNU) is a multidisciplinary state university of the highest (IV) level of accreditation. Founded in 1960, now it is the major HEI in Engineering and Technology, and Social Sciences in the Middle-Dniper area. The university currently conducts teaching students on 30 Bachelor programmes and 25 Master programmes providing the industrial region, where more than 1.5 million people live, with high-skilled experts in 30 subject areas and 21 profession fields. KrNU is organized into two academic and research institutes (Institute of Electromechanics, Energy Saving and Control Systems and Institute of Mechanics and Transport), four constituent faculties (Electronics and Computer Engineering; Natural Sciences; Economics and Management; and Law and Humanities faculties), and two colleges. Research and training centre of post-graduate and distance learning provides doctoral students training in 18 specialties and post-doctoral in 3 specialties, which is based on the profound and well-grounded scholar schools helmed by the leading scientists of Ukraine working at our university.
Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University has different student tuition forms and runs researching on Engineering and Technology, and Social Sciences. The main priopities of KrNU include selection and training of highly skilled academic staff, which provides high quality education at the university, integrity of educative, scientific, and research programmes, increasing of scholar potential of scientific schools, development of international collaboration, providing educational activity with up-to-date equipment. Our goal is to have intelligent and highly-educated alumni, whom we eager to see not only as experienced professionals, but also as successful and talented people having wide world vision and perception, for they to be capable for personal fulfillment within the occupational field they have chosen. We welcome school, technical school, and college leavers to enter our university, we also welcome Ukrainian and abroad scientist and researchers to collaborate with our scientific and academic staff.
