Oleg Tinkov

Oleg Tinkov is a Russian entrepreneur and cycling sponsor. According to Forbes, in 2014 he was ranked 1210 in the list of the wealthiest people in the world, on the list of the richest businessmen in Russia in 2016 he was ranked 79 with a fortune of $1.2 billion.

Oleg Tinkov founded Tinkoff Bank in 2006. It is now one of the world’s largest online banks, with around 8 million customers in Russia.

Before banking, he founded frozen food producer Daria, Tinkoff Beer and Tinkoff Restaurants.

Tinkov sold his brewery business to InBev in 2005 and started the bank the next year.

Tinkoff Bank went public on the London Stock Exchange in 2013.

Tinkov launched a chain of luxury-hotels in France, Italy and Russia under the name La Datcha.
