Martin Tobias
Martin Tobias is a serial entrepreneur, investor, and father with credentials in Cleantech and Digital Media. He is the Founder and Manager at MGT Investments LLC. Previously Martin was CEO of Seattle-based collective buying and social commerce site Tippr, and CEO of marketplace software developer Kashless, also in Seattle. He was also CEO of Imperium Renewables, a pioneer in bio-diesel production, and founding CEO of Loudeye Technologies, a developer of internet audio and video software acquired by Nokia. In addition to working with Yaletown, Martin serves on the Venture Council of Industry Ventures, and is a director of Cloudmark. As a former Venture Partner at Ignition Partners, and a co-founder of the Northwest Energy Angels, Martin has financed and provided guidance to over three dozen technology start-ups in WA, OR, and BC.
