Kuwait University is the State of Kuwait`s national University, leading in both higher education and scientific research, and operates under the supervision of the University Council headed by the Minister of Higher Education. Kuwait University offers a profound learning experience, symbolizing the students hope for tomorrow. During the academic year 2012/2013, the number of students at KU reached 35352, while the number academic faculty staff members reached 1450. The administrative faculties of Kuwait University include 3570 employees qualified and trained regularly to enhance performance level. Moreover, the University has witnessed a significant expansion in the number of scientific colleges that reached 16 Colleges with establishment of College of Computing Sciences and Engineering and College of Architecture.
