Sompo Holdings, Inc. (SOMPOホールディングス Sonpo hôrudingusu), formerly NKSJ Holdings and Sompo Japan Nipponkoa (損害保険ジャパン日本興亜 Songai Hoken Japan Nipponkoa, lit. “General Insurance Japan-Nipponkoa”), is a Japanese insurance company. It is the second-largest property insurance company in Japan only behind Tokio Marine, with market share of 19.3% in 2007.

Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Holdings, Inc. engages in the provision of insurance services. It operates through the following segments: Domestic Property and Casualty Insurance, Domestic Life Insurance, Overseas Insurance, and Others. The Domestic Property and Casualty Insurance segment provides underwriting of property and casualty insurance, investment, and related services.
