Leonid Fedun
Leonid Arnoldovich Fedun is a Russian billionaire businessman. His estimated wealth as of June 2019 is $8.5 billion. Fedun, a former Russian military officer, is a close associate of Vagit Alekperov, the CEO of Russian oil company Lukoil. Fedun owns 9.2% of Lukoil shares and the Russian football club Spartak Moscow.
- A former military man-turned-financial whiz, Fedun met his partner Vagit Alekperov in the late 80’s while teaching in the Siberian city of Kogalym.
- In the 1990s Fedun helped Alekperov privatize Lukoil, which was formed from top Russian oil properties. He owns a nearly 10% stake in the oil company.
