Laurent Dassault is a French billionaire businessman, and the co-managing director of Dassault Group, founded by his grandfather, Marcel Dassault. Dassault is married, with two children, and lives in Paris, France.
- Laurent Dassault is one of Serge Dassault’s four children who inherited their father’s wealth when he died in May 2018.
- In 1991 after 13 years in banking, Dassault joined Dassault Groupe, the family’s aerospace and software conglomerate. He is now co-managing director.
- He also serves as director of Artcurial, the family’s art auction house, which auctions horses and real estate, as well.
- Marcel, Laurent’s grandfather, founded Dassault Aviation, a French aerospace company that started out making propellers in World War I.
- He and his family also own the country’s daily newspaper Le Figaro, vineyards and a private aeronautic company.
