Kyushu Institute of Technology

Kyushu Institute of Technology, Kyutech, has its fundamental principle, to educate ‘people with competence in engineering’ since its foundation in 1909. For more than 100 years, Kyutech has strived to create new technologies and industries, and to produce global engineers with advanced technologies. Today, it has approximately 6000 students and 380 academic staffs in 2 undergraduate and 3 graduate schools.

The missions of Kyutech are education and research, and contribution to the society with fruits of these activities. Triggered by the start of Japanese national universities corporation, Kyutech has strived strenuously and incessantly to become a university with global standards based on the assurance of academic quality.
