Jilin University

Located in Changchun, Jilin University is one of the key comprehensive universities directly under the Ministry of Education, supported by state key projects such as ‘211’ and ‘985’. Jilin University covers all the 13 academic categories in China. It is the home to 4 state first-level key disciplines. The university presently has 19 CAS and CAE members(10 in both CAS and CAE), 4 faculty members with senior professorship in the field of philosophy and social sciences, and 68,580 full-time students. Jilin University campuses cover a total area of over 6.22 million square meters, with construction area of school buildings over 3.31 million square meters.Jilin University libraries have a storage of 6.48 million volumes. Jilin University has established Copperative partnership with over 130 universities and research institutes from over 30 countries and regions. Jilin University aims to build herself into an internatinally-renowned top level research university in China by year 2020.
