Brian Sheth

Brian N. Sheth is the co-founder and President of Vista Equity Partners, a private equity fund based in Austin, Texas. Sheth was listed in the Forbes 2018 World Billionaires list with an estimated net worth of $2 billion. He was also a member of Fortune’s 2015 “40 under 40” list and Forbes’ 40 under 40 in 2015.

Brian Sheth cofounded private equity firm Vista Equity Partners in 2000 with Robert Smith.

Sheth oversees all deal-making at Vista, which has in recent years conducted more software acquisitions than any other company or investor.

Prior to launching Vista, where he serves as president, Sheth worked at Bain Capital, Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Morgan Grenfell.

He received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Sheth is chairman of Global Wildlife Conservation, an environmental foundation based in Austin, Texas.
