Sumner Redstone
Sumner Murray Redstone is an American businessman and media magnate. He is the majority owner and chairman of the board of the National Amusements theater chain. Through National Amusements, Redstone and his family are majority voting shareholders of CBS Corporation and Viacom.
- Sumner Redstone remains controlling shareholder of CBS, which agreed to merge with Viacom in August 2019; the deal may close by the end of the year.
