Scott Cook

Scott David Cook is an American businessman, the co-founder of Intuit, director since March 1983 and chairman of the executive committee. Cook is also a director of eBay and Procter & Gamble. As of 2005 Cook’s net worth is estimated at over US$1 billion.

• Scott Cook is the cofounder of financial software giant Intuit, known for products like QuickBooks, TurboTax and Mint.
• The Harvard Business School grad worked for Procter & Gamble and Bain before launching Intuit in 1983.
• He stepped down as CEO in 1994, but remains chairman of the $6 billion (sales) company and has an over 3% stake.
