Olivia Kim
Olivia Kim joined Nordstrom in February 2013 in a then newly created role as creative projects director. Kim focuses on creating energy, excitement, and inspiration through curated partnerships, the Pop-In@Nordstrom series of pop-up shops, and a new in-store boutique, SPACE. Kim aims to create new, interesting, and unique experiences for customers and introduce them to the best up-and-coming brands and new talent. Kim was named vice president in September 2015.
A prominent figure in the fashion industry, prior to joining Nordstrom Kim was a founding member and vice president of creative at Opening Ceremony, where she was responsible for the retailer’s leadership in merchandising and store planning, art direction, and collaborative projects. Past projects included partnerships with Proenza Schouler, Rodarte, Nike, Levi’s, Topshop, Chloe Sevigny, and Yoko Ono, to name a few. She has also played an essential role in launching emerging designers such as CFDA–nominated brands Suno, Pamela Love, and Patrik Ervell.
