Taipei Tech was established in 1912, and has since produced numerous outstanding alumni who have contributed much to the economic development and prosperity of Taiwan. Our graduates are the top favorites among Taiwan?s top 1000 enterprises, declared by Cheers magazine. In 2013 teaching excellence evaluation done by the Taiwan Ministry of Education, Taipei Tech was ranked No. 1. Taipei Tech is also No. 1 Paradigm Technological University in 2012 and 2013 awarded by Ministry of Education Taiwan for its research and academic excellence. In addition, Taipei Tech is Top 100 universities in Asia ranked by Times Higher Education (THE). Also in 2013, we are ranked No 2 UI GreenMetric World University in Asia. Currently Taipei Tech has six colleges (Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, Management, Design, Humanities & Social Sciences), 19 undergraduate programs and 40 graduate programs. Taipei Tech has the best location in Taipei Metropolitan. The campus is located at the center of intersecting Taipei Metro systems. Taipei Tech has many experiences with international Copperation, we currently host students from about 50 countries around the world. Also, we carry out elite educational programs with the governments of the Gambia, Swaziland, and Saudi Arabia.
