The London School of Economics and Political Science `LSE ` is one of the foremost social science universities in the world. It is a specialist university with an international intake and a global reach. Its research and teaching span the full breadth of the social sciences, from economics, politics and law to sociology, anthropology, accounting and finance.As the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise confirmed, it has the highest percentage of world-leading research of any UK university. The School has made its submission to the new Research Excellence Framework and is now awaiting the outcomes which are expected in late 2014. In their 2015 edition the Complete University Guide have rated LSE as the best university in London. LSE also advanced one place to 24th in the fourth annual Times Higher Education World Reputation Rankings, only one of five UK institutions to come in the top thirty.
