Ferrari

Ferrari is an Italian luxury sports car manufacturer based in Maranello. Founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1939 out of Alfa Romeo’s race division as Auto Avio Costruzioni, the company built its first car in 1940.

Ferrari has favored-son status in F1, as the team gets some $100 million per year just for showing up. Last year the team’s parent company boosted revenues by more than $100 million from increased F1 sponsorship income and engine rentals to other F1 teams.
