China Hongqiao Group

China Hongqiao Group Limited is a Chinese state-owned company founded in 1994 that specializes in the production of aluminum. Hongqiao is currently the largest aluminum producer in the world, having overtaken its main competitor, the Russian company UC Rusal, in 2015.

China Hongqiao Group Ltd. engages in the manufacturing of aluminum products, which consist of molten aluminum alloy, aluminum alloy ingots, aluminum alloy processing products and aluminum busbars. Its production scale consists with three manufacturing bases, Zouping Manufacturing, Weiqiao Manufacturing and Binzhou Manufacturing. The company was founded by Shi Ping Zhang in July 1994 and is headquartered in Binzhou, China.
