Carl Pei

Carl Pei is the co-founder at OnePlus. Raised in Sweden, Carl currently oversees much of OnePlus’ brand strategy. Founded in 2013, their debut smartphone, the OnePlus One, was hailed by TIME as the ‘phone of dreams’.

In May 2018, over 1,500 fans traveled to London to witness the live launch of the company’s most recent product, the OnePlus 6. On May 14, 2019, OnePlus released their latest premium flagship devices, the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7. Carl went on the stage of the Indian launch event where about 3,500 people attended. His keynote speech was concurrently viewed by over 247,000 people online. Business Insider said that the OnePlus 7 Pro just “schooled Apple and Samsung in how to make a premium phone.” Forbes also said that the OnePlus 7 Pro will “force Apple and Samsung to Change.”

Before co-founding OnePlus, Carl had been running different online content, community, and e-commerce ventures since the age of 12.
