Bashkir State University

Bashkir State University is the oldest university of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Within 100 years of its existence, Bashkir State University has confirmed its right to be called one of the top 50 universities in Russia. Today the university incorporates 15 faculties and 3 branches situated in Sibai, Sterlitamak and Neftekamsk, the number of students is over 27,000. About 2,000 educational workers, including 310 Doctors and 960 Candidates of Sciences, are engaged in academic, scientific and educational activities. Training is provided in more than 150 majors and areas, including the second stage of higher education, i.e. MA courses.
